How is Barra still employed? She has done absolutely nothing to improve GM.

The credited amount for the US was estimated at $2.5B.
Then we read that Mary has graciously entitled Brazil to a $2.7B investment.
My math says that was a net-net $200M investment from GM to kill 12,000 American Jobs + plus 10x jobs for every GM job so about 120,000 US jobs at a $200M investment. Which means they invested $170k per head to eliminate and American Job.

All I know is my friends and colleagues that remain at GM are nervous and scared everyday that they are next on the layoff list. Nobody seems to know what the plan is and everyone is very confused. Almost everyone I have talked with is saying the same thing , this is a big mess. How can anyone honestly be affective in such an environment? We all understand the principals of business and sometimes that means layoffs as part of that business but what is this companies real plan , just to boost the stock price ? It's a bizzare way to run a business. Are they looking to reduce redundancy , well they should examine all of the top heavy Management and executives , maybe go back to business class and study SWOT analysis and staff line management , everyone knows that GM does for casts well in advance or did they skip that step? How did they not know five or six years ago that they would have a mass shift in sales and the need to reduce head count ,Instead Mass hirings ? Now mass layoffs ! And these people have masters in business degress , Rediculous. I can't even imagine what the Socrates page says day after day , I can only imagine.
