I know Oracle has never ending layoff, is the current round that started last week over? When is next round likely to start and which geography, groups etc? Anyone has views?

IDC people are much cheaper than CDC people. Payroll of one China engineer can feed at least 3 in IDC.
Layoffs at oracle will not be over until its liquidated. The god news that won’t be long.

While level of spoken and written English of most CDC developers need significant improvement I found that they are much better at their job than developers from IDC.
They layoff from same team again which saw layoff 2weeks back.
Tell the board to shutdown CDC(China Development Center) permanently and there will be no loss at all

Then It,s APAC turn, especially CDC will be massive cuts, top level are discussing about number amd percts of wls, blc, psf and ocic. I am an chines american work for the leader board and this is a.qwick warn for my fellow chinese who still working at the mainland.
don't have any first hand infos, but from what has been posted here in the last days and rumour mill heard in the hallway, it seems US is over but EMEA and APAC have just started.
