Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

More layoffs on April 15

Next round of WFRs occur on 15 April and just in time for Easter. ML & Mason will bank their bonuses soon afterwards.

Any truth to this?

Management asked to rank their highest paid so high pay positions are on the chopping block. And some leadership. as usual, DXC will get rid of knowledge and billable experts that are still left from the merger...take over. ML can't run a digital transformation or non-digital transformation company. Looks like a Mike Herd of old, aquiring companies to the pot stired. Who will be the next Meg (who did nothing but undo prior HP/HPE CEOs did). Only the top get richer while destroying the knowledge and expertise of the workers. Sell your stock before it drops any more

BTW, DXC replaced EY with Competitor Deloitte for audits. REALLLY? hiring the competitor so they can gather intel. WOW. get out now.

For some reason April layoff list was not ready. This has been postponed to 3rd week of May 2019, with a longer list.

I don't buy any of what you say. We do the culling on Thurs in the US. Vacation is not a pass or delay. Your number is up, we call it.

WFRs are generally announced on the third Monday or Tuesday of each month. If you happen to be away from work that day then some other lucky DXC'er will get the chop notice instead of you.

Well as documented on here and on The Register, 400 jobs to go in Security in Q1, quite when in Q1 isn't known, but I'd guess those affected will be told ASAP in the coming weeks. Some have already gone. Where in Security - no idea!

On top of that, there are ~800 to go from other areas, where I do not know, but that makes up the other $140 million in "savings" announced...

So yes, true.

Well, it’s getting hard to get the work done so I don’t expect business growth anytime soon.

Yes, more WFRs are coming down the pipe. No estimate on the number of heads to be cut. Expect it to hit ITO Americas the hardest.
