Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

anyone have experience with internal transfer hiring process?

Someone I know is concerned about having to go through the whole d--g prescreen again for a job she internally applied for. The positions are not in the field, it doesn't require any move, or any increased HSE risk. The current position has no safety hazards. Neither are in any product line. Same salary band, not a promotion. Horizontal. Has anyone had any experience with how HR handles the whole internal candidate transfer process?

It’s who you blow, not who you know.

Internal transfer policy by HR is full of c-ap. A colleague of mine got a lateral move with double the work no salary increment.
