Thread regarding CVS layoffs

When the business model changes are more stores going to be in jeopardy of closing?

Just thinking out loud, but when the business model changes some stores that used to be safe are bound to turn out unprofitable after the shifts. How big is the possibility that there will be a wave of store closures after all this is over and Aetna is included in the business model?

First off the merger is in trouble. So until that situation gets decided, cvs will probably remain in a holding pattern. And either way it goes will probably be bad. I say their will be cutbacks if the merger is approved in order to get the debt under control. And if it fails, stock will drop like a rock, and cutbacks will happen to right the ship after a failed merger.
