Thank you, the more people who know what Oxy is the better. Nobody should have to tolerate that environment if they are on the receiving end of the culture rather than those who take pride in things like Piper Alpha. I know of several people who have turned down job offers with Oxy once they get to know more about the company. Happy to oblige!

I know that was over 30 years ago, and Oxy has had 4 CEOs since then, but I'm glad you are finally getting the message out. Keep up the good work! You're doing great!
Maybe you can tell that to the people in Aberdeen, bosv. You can wear any Oxy t-shirt and walk around town espousing your great company.

Oh god, the people who are proud of piper alpha, Petrolia, Maynas Carijano, Thunderball, 35R gas line explosion, 1 billion dollar write off in North Dakota, $2.6 billion write off at Elk Hills, the highest turnover of professional staff in the industry and the people who hide on here behind anonymity are back again.

Feel sorry for Pioneer employees if this goes ahead. They have no idea of the work place bigotry and bullying they are about to be exposed too. Its going to be a culture shift for Pioneer with the employees and track record that Oxy have.
God I hope not. Nothing against the good people at Pioneer, but I just think the Permian unconventional business model is way overrated. I have no desire to work for a pure Permian tight oil company. Oh well...time to move into our cubes at Century Park and start copy/pasting well and facilities designs since we will be in Permian "factory mode".
