Just curious, what is the head count of your stocking crew. We are working 4am till 10:30am monday through Friday. Head count of people. We are a 35 million dollar store. We are getting more freight in than previous years but our crew has not grown in numbers. And no seasonal help! What is your store doing?

I’m the back end SSM and we have gone from Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday trucks to 5 days a week. No overnight crew. Each truck is roughly 800-1300 labels. We have 4 people come in work their butts off and get told they aren’t being productive enough because freight isn’t off the floor by 9am.
Worked nights at a 60mil store. 7 day night stocking w/ 2 separate teams that overlapped one day. Each team was 1 manager and 4 CSAs - expected to get 2000 pieces of freight put away between 9pm and 5am. Most nights we also had to help unload the truck because no one cared if the unload crew was getting their job done.
LOL! Our night crew hasn't even started yet. The crew is supposed to consist of 1 manager and 4 csa's. Most of them including the manager were hired from the outside. The seasonal help is virtually nonexistent when compared to prior years staffing. Our new dept head has virtually no interest in helping inside even though he is on the inside schedule. The MST /PSA crew is a f---ing joke. If they are not doing resets than they either spend hours dusting or stocking cash wraps. I have yet to see them down stock anything. Basically the hours are being taking away from peak sales floor time and being allocated to these so called improvements/experiments. All this is one giant bait and switch with no consideration for the increased amount of work. Its going to be reall interesting when our fall/christmas starts being shipped in June when our top stock is filled lawn mowers and patio.
We work the night shift and have 7 Stockers and a Supervisor. We have run out of places to put all the extra stock. Not only do we fill the shelves and top stock, we are cleaning up, doing pack downs and anything else the Associates during the day don’t want to do. What happened to all those MSA’s that were supposed to be hired to do pack downs?
Do what you can leave the rest to Pile Up eventually corporate will do a walk or inventory will happen and that'll fix it
