Well said, money saved from all that "management" needs to go into where it's needed, not the pockets of the intransigent.
All the old men DMs, RVPs etc need to go. They cant embrace change, new ideas, they are too stuck on old school ways that will and are sinking us. Can we get new computers already? A customer pointed out last week when our beyond store was running slow as usual...she said well look you're on Windows 2008 that's why. Embarrassing! Take some $$ from the old men and put it into stores if they really want to survive. If not they only care about their own parachute.
