Will OXY take over the two buildings Anadarko has in the Woodlands?

"I don’t understand how the west side office is already full before we even move in it. Who planned this?"
This is correct... some of us got to see the building(s) before most, and it was known from day one that as built, the buildings would not accommodate all the current employees. The configuration is going to be half of a standard cubicle of a decade ago, and for geoscientists, a special configuration to handle 4 30 inch monitors. Way too crowded, and now APC? Something has to change, or we keep the Anadarko buildings in the Woodlands.
Both Hackett and Allison towers are occupied, although some floors aren't as full as others. I'm assuming Western Gas (Western Midstream Partners) is part of the acquisition as well. They have an office downtown Houston. Then there is the aviation dept at the hangar at Bush IAH which we already know is axed.
The Woodlands campus/towers are beautiful a world apart. Certainly built with oil money. Also have acreage where they dropped a tower just because it wasn’t worth the headache of renting the building. It would sell quickly but hard to let go of.
Hiring freeze is over on a case by case basis.
I'm sorry to say, but if you've been waiting since Nov then it isn't happening. There's been a hiring freeze due to the Anadarko acquisition. They may have wanted to hire you, but they can't now.
still waiting to hear back on my accountant application from Oxy after the November 2018 in person interview :/ they seemed to love me

I would say no, but I heard the new office in the energy corridor isn't big enough. Doesn't Anadarko have an entire empty tower up there?
