I'm praying for layoffs. Praying to be let out of here with at least some kind of a safety net, because staying here is not healthy for me. Or anybody else, for that matter, at least in my opinion.
I'll admit, it's a little liberating not to have to worry about layoffs every day once you embrace the possibility.
You commenters piss me off. This company has not been good to a lot of people. Layoffs are not the answer. How about taking good care of employees so this is not the sentiment? I have been with them 8 years and I have seen great people get let go and never offered decent employment back. People who have worked their literal butts off and the atmosphere is like a slave ship. Whippings will continue until moral improves. You skankers who work for Humana and come on here defending the company with your trite sayings. Your day is coming. Its cut throat here. So if you are close to retirement Just go find another job. Yeah.
I agree with other two replies. If you're miserable and stressed so badly that you're praying to be laid off you're probably not doing our members, your coworkers or yourself any favors. Cut your losses and go somewhere that you feel is a good fit.
Maybe you didn't read the news but unemployment is at record lows. So leave, push your liberation to new highs...
If you are ready to go then go. There are many jobs out there right now ! Do yourself a favor and get yourself in a better situation. Humana is not changing .
