Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

PR department is doing its job, I guess

Why is all the coverage I can find in the media about Sam's Club about huge cinnamon rolls and fundraisers and other fluffy subjects and none of it is about the ongoing changes and how they're affecting long-term employees?

Are we not a newsworthy subject? Does it not matter Sam's is basically forcing us to leave on our own?

No ones forcing anyone to leave. They have made changes we dont like or agree with and hold all the bashing im a 20 plus year associate and I had the option to leave or accept the changes and I choose the second option. I hate the changes as much as everyone else but finding another job at what I make an hour is really hard to do. When you work for someone else you either accept changes or move on. If we owned your own business and we had people working for us and we wanted to make changes I dont believe we would ask the people working for us if they wanted to make changes.
