Thread regarding Sears layoffs

Gone

Gone are the days were this website was actually a good source of information. Now it’s all speculation and people making things up. Half of the topics discussed have nothing to do with layoffs.

"yun, would you like your name (or your daughter’s name) getting dragged trough the mud? Think not. "

These sh--bag lowlifes deserve it. Ruining people's careers and lives and you want to whine about them getting named and called out?

yun, would you like your name (or your daughter’s name) getting dragged trough the mud? Think not. That’s why personally identifiable info is not allowed here. C-suits are public figures, so their actions and possible actions (including conspiracy theories) are commented in all the media, so why not here?

On the other hand, the rest of us (you and me both along with our managers) are considered commoners, that’s why the posts that could reveal our identity get nuked here.

@ZBzw09p-1dvv I am surprised at Sears still has a PR department.

RE: Do you check the site regularly enough to notice how much information is erased by the mods? They allow bizarre Eddie conspiracy theory and stuff about other execs, but try naming any specifics at a lower level regarding layoffs or other pertinent information and it gets erased rather quickly.

IVE SAID FOR A LONG TIME THAT SEARS HR PULLS STRINGS HERE. ITS BLATANTLY OBVIOUS.

OP: you are 100% correct. As your useless, off topic tirade proves. Good job Einstein.

@yun a lot of the "bizarre conspiracy" stuff near as I can tell is just dumbed down versions of court filings by the creditor committee

One part of the problem is now that Eddie is in full control he can clamp down media releases to only hear the good stuff. Those new home and life stores, the Kmarts they’re going to remodel, reuniting with Hometown, etc. Eddie won’t tell you the bad stuff. All positive, Transform. Sign up those credit cards.

Most of the people who had worthwhile info about the company were likely let go or moved on.....Sears has probably lost 70% or more of its workforce over the past several years due to cutbacks, store closures, or dissatisfied associates leaving and moving on to other things.
