ASMs jump ship now. Look into places like Save A Lot. I heard about all of this months ago... i jumped after 11 years. SM now for Save A Lot. Low stress...pay is right in line with ASMs pay.

Stores in Florida are doing that now. One market demoted 75% of their assistants. They can apply for hourly positions but its a big pay cut.

I heard that too, we had an emergency webinar meeting late yesterday. Of course I cannot go into specifics on here, nobody close to my dept. really seems to know anything any way, but the tone is not good. I'm scared. I've got 20 yrs in and two kids in college right now. BTW: just cause you can't necessarilly find info on these things on the news doesn't mean they're untrue. Walmart does media blackouts better thnan you'd ever believe.
