Is chase having a hiring freeze right now? Most people looking are not being called in for jobs and i mean those who already got their 45 day notice.

And they say their employees are the most important assets. I think my monitors were more important than me. They were locked for fear of walking away.
There was a "freeze" when I was given 45 days and HR wouldnt approve anything under 601 for me that I applied for... Thanks for nothing take your package and go!
The hiring freeze (outside and internal) has been in effect for certain departments since September 2018.
The are not calling them in because they either make to much, have too much tenure or will be cutting those jobs too.
For employees with a notice, 45 or whatever, posting for a job is a joke. The recruiters are no help. You need to constantly follow up on jobs.
But what gets you down is the fact it does not matter how many years you have worked or how much experience you have if you don't know key player in the group you won't get a chance to interview, let alone the job.
