No idea what to think , seriously mind blown. Head over Charleston office walks out for reasons unknown and their spot filled within days with the head of the Florence office . So was this planned ? Is this a sign Florence is about to be axed? We’ve never even gotten a sign for our location , we don’t even come up as a chc location. Seriously who can you trust when the people who look you in your face saying they are dedicated to your staff and location up and goes elsewhere. Seriously disappointed , mostly would like to know what to expect as we all have families who rely on us . Never have i scratched my head so much with cluelessness within a job ......

I wish I would have known this forum was here sooner. The head of operations for the Greenville office suddenly retired 3 months ago. Took them 2 months to get her shoes filled. Monday they laid off 29 of us. I happened to be off with a sick child and was called personally by the head of operations. I was later told all the employees where escorted out of the office and the team leads packed our things for us to come back and get them. We received our sh–ty severance package today. I never expected this from CHC.
Public company. Will face significant pressure to deliver shareholder value. Work with private equity firms, $5.8B in debt... you're going to see much more cutting and organizational changes. Shouldn't be a surprise when things just drop, especially now that they're public. Almost guaranteed more layoffs to come, leaner operations, will sell off units that they deem not essential/core to their long term business. Makes no sense to stay and watch if you're fearful. Get out if you can before you get hit with the hammer. Next few years will be bumpy.
You know the answer. Prepare your resume and be proactive. Don’t wait for them to cut you unless you’ve been there long enough to collect a nice severance. I hope their stock drops thru the floor.
