Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Offshore executives

Someone should start an offshore outsourced C-suite capability. Think of how much money could be saved by offshoring directors, VPs, Presidents. Since quality doesn’t matter in software or infrastructure, why would it matter in “leadership”?

Companies do offshore executives, often assigning them to places like Bermuda and Dubai so that they can avoid paying state and/or Federal income tax.

It even happens domestically. Hertz moved its headquarters from Jersey to a small town in SW Florida just so that their new CEO could live near his waterfront mansion in Naples without income tax resulting in hundreds of terminated employees (not laid-off technically as they 'voluntarily' chose not to relocate to FL).

There should be some sort of certification for companies that do not offshore their work out of America - similar as to how the USDA certifies things organic, it could be the same "100% AMERICAN COMPANY - MADE AND SUPPORTED."

Sadly few companies would qualify for this yet the ones that do I would surely patronize even if it costs a bit more to do so.

TRUTH. Never held accountable for delivering late or ever. Total joke, considering they also get golden parachutes.

Also, it may be the fault of the business to increase as much profit, but I also, highly doubt those $9/hr 'developers' are qualified to work on this type of software.
