Don’t believe anything till it happens guys. I’m halfway through my RR career and I can tell you guys don’t sweat things you have no control over. Just remember we live in the greatest country on earth and if you are willing to work hard you will have no problems finding other employment. Seriously people most of you that work for this company must be pretty standout people UPRR honestly does set the bar pretty high as far as the quality of people they hire so just stay positive keep your options open and I’ll bet everyone on here worried about being furloughed will just fine! I came to this site to get the latest information on what's happening on the UP. As I keep on coming back, I have started getting nightmares! When I worked at UP I was a foreman , my nightmare is I am helping my electrician repair a buss bar on a Locomotive , with no flag , no tag , no lockout . And guess who is getting ready to climb aboard and FTX me ? Augh ! A maps upgrade! Then I wake up and remember I retired a year ago . I think I am giving up this web site , It gets me sick so long
