Thread regarding Southwestern Energy Co. layoffs

March, 2004.. Appears to be last time the stock was this low.... I was at SWN at the time, and while no one knew the trajectory, there was a feeling of controlling it and making something new and exciting. I was laid off in 2016, and honestly came over to see if there was any hope for my one remaining stock award in December.

Im not sure this board is representative but seems to be a poor environment.

Locations rapidly being drilled up, especially at current prices -- I've heard that most see the efficiency that have been gained - good job; really -- are about done ..and

Mr. D C doesn't appear to have any "new deals' on the horizon and despite, EY-- its not clear where the money would come from to fund anything new ....

IF your just trying to stay in the industry; then not a bad place to hang out, hard to see any potential, unless you look good in a tux :)

How many times will you allow yourself to be lied to? Repositioned? Rebuilt? Blah blah blah mba buzzword bingo. I'm done with it all and actively looking to move on to "reposition my rebuilt self in this uber economic non traditional environment". This dumpster fire is circling the drain and its time to get out. If you think a turnaround is coming, ask yourself how many times you've allowed yourself to believe that.

Capture even bigger.... are you serious? You had that years ago with the people who knew what they were doing. The people who started it all in the beginning. Way and his clowns are playing with real money and real lives and it does not hurt them in the end. Golden parachutes for them. Nothing for us.

I am worried about my job every day it makes me sick. While he just enjoys his 5th floor bathroom!

I am writing letters to ALL of the board. This needs to change NOW!!!

Bill Way, entrepreneur of the year? He deserved that about as much as Elvis deserved his black belt. $2.88 and hitting new lows! Shameful, but still the more reason to give him a giant bonus.
