How has Centurylink become a better company with the purchase of Level3 ? There has been plenty of time to see improvement but I'm not seeing it. All I see is so far is THOUSANDS of legacy Qwest/Centurylink employees losing their jobs. Not many Level3 employees. Employees are losing on call pay and no overtime to complete the work for the customers. Moral is at an all time low.The stock is in the dumps. They are being fined for numerous things. What is happening ? I truly don't understand how the purchase of Level3 is supposed to be a good thing. Management needs a reality check and real soon. Many sites are in real bad shape but very little is being done to keep them up to par. That will cost in the long run when they start dropping traffic at the same time. I know the board of directors see what is happening. Thanks Level3 upper management for nothing.

All I see is a rush to change anything and get your name out there. It has been nothing but chaos since flaky 3.

Certainly does seem like things might have been smoother had CenturyLink not done the Qwest, Level 3, and possibly Savvis acquisitions.
We were honestly better off being separate companies.
This is what happens when they stopped promoting from within and hired people with no telephony experience. There used to be people who knew when an idea was a bad one and refused. They just want a company of yes men. I used to have good supervisors I respected and worked hard for. I was proud to work here but that was 15 years ago now i have too many things i cant forget that i had to deal with.
