Kind of ironic. A few of my colleagues were let go shortly before Ch11 was announced. We felt bad for them, it was a sad moment. Now a couple of months after, they all landed new jobs and every single one of them is much happier than any of us that got to stay. Don’t want to sound pathetic, just thought that this situation paints a good picture of how low this company has dropped.

@ZV8igTE-2cpu Yeah, retail in general just s---s, friend, I feel you. I wish to escape for good in the near future and for good myself.
My store closed just before bankruptcy and I got a job at Home Depot a few months later. It’s a much better retailer, I just am a little burned out behind retail in general. Also, Home Depot is almost a little cult like in their devotion, which is too over the top for me. I think Kmart ruined me and made me bitter lol.
Feeling your pain. Took a pay cut, but have an HMO, with a solid company. Hang on and don't give up. Yes, it was tough, but we are getting through it. Hugs!
