While interesting to track the cumulative number of layoffs, why don't you also post the new hire numbers and headcount from acquisitions? Oracle is at ~138K and not a net loss over 3 years, so they're not reducing the overall headcount but replacing people (presumably with younger people).
It’s not numbers from 3 years ago; it’s the cumulative number of people laid off during the last 3 years. Big difference people working at a tech company should not have difficulties understanding
