So they cut maternity leave from 4 months back to 6 or 8 weeks depending on delivery. I wonder what will be next? And the good old boys club keeps getting bigger. Are we in 1960 cause it sure feels that way.

Maternity? Not a big deal as it doesn't effect everyone. Benefits and vacation days are what's key.
More cuts coming. You can tell who the weak managers are as they say nothing. Start every sentence, my boss wants me to do this... Strong leaders are telling their people. Can't wait for HR to experience Karma
You accrue vacation days throughout the year. You’d get paid for any days you accrued but didn’t take if you’re let go. There used to be a chart online showing how many days you accrue by month. Don’t know if it’s still online.
Any layoffs this week expected ? Mid month...another pay period. Does anyone know how they calculate vacation when you get laid off ? Or if you have taken them all . DO they deduct from your severance ?
Don’t understand why you think the griping is not justified. The company has been on a long decline and only getting worse. I think you’ll find most people are exploring their options and many will leave when they find new jobs. I hope your skills are marketable when it’s your turn.

They are cutting every other benefit, so why not maternity? If you think this is bad, just wait until open enrollment for health benefits and you see what you have to pay next year, if your employment lasts that long.
