Speaking of mainframes, I learned at dinner this evening that all the mainframe SMEs in Infrastructure team we relies on for problem solving got lay-off today. Very bad for us applications. There are many others in the mainframe infrastructure area but they are not knowledgeable or helping us, they point fingers at each other, have foul language and bad attitudes and never solves our issues. The SMEs would help us solve issues quickly. Very bad for Ford. I do not like this new Ford.
Some of the old timers were working on outsourcing projects and had the knowledge and history to do it right. Those oldtimers are gone now. Not smart.
None of the young ones want to work on mainframe apps and AP keeps messing them up with shoddy code. So, lets get rid of the old timers!
Just like Silicon Valley, get rid of the older folks...they have no useful skills. Hey, wait, we have this launch issue...does anyone know what they did before to fix it?
