All of us on leveraged comp plans get ready.
The new plan (whatever it is) will hit us on July 1.

Looks and sounds like real news to us. You don’t know what you’re talking about if you think Xerox can’t/won’t change sales comp mid year. It may be good or bad but it can and has changed in the past at mid year based on first half results. If we drop (or sell) some of the production lines they will want to adjust us for that, too. Don’t know about the “office” products. We’ll know for sure on July 1st.
Fake news, fake news, fake news. Competitors on here stirring the pot, and don’t forget the snowflakes
XBS cores have been open and honest that comp plans will change July. Xerox almost always paid better than GIS/XBS in most cores. It'll be somewhere in the middle. Any mature core would hit the financial model by pinching pennies and squeezing (Mosley). Younger cores were in growth mode, investing and would hit model via equipment contribution and clicks (Ralph, Vega).
Changing the commission plan mid-year has happened before. This wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility. The unknown really is how they change it, not if they change it.
Please, use some brain power instead of writing "fake news". It contributes nothing.
If this happens, Xerox may need to hire another 'story teller' at $250K annual to write stories on how good and happy the company's sales teams are. After all, Johnny can't let the Street think that Xerox's share price should be under $10/share instead of over $30/share (it's at $32.90 right now) or Johnny's pimp may take his toys.
Fake news, fake news
Sales is f&*$ed! I’m hearing Commissions are being halved.
It's not fake news - this has been in the works for a while now. Some of the top sales leadership is aware of the pending changes. One Sales VP has already resigned and gone elsewhere. Do you really think that Xerox is going to make it more lucrative for Sales from a compensation perspective? Heck no. They are in full cost cutting mode due to their lack of foresight to grow revenue.
Bahahahaha. There is no top sales talent at Xerox. None.
Fake news
This has been mentioned before, but no mention of it recently. They have screwed up the comp plans for so many people, I kinda doubt they are going to roll out a new sales comp plan going into the 2nd half of the year unless it is significantly better and focused to keeping top-end talent.
