I’m a full time associate why is my Benefits center (88SEARS) saying my benefits will end and I have to sign up for COBRA??
Does that mean my status is going to change soon.
I ain’t the only one in the store.

the cobra notice is just a formality required by law, due to SHC employees being 'terminated' by the bankruptcy. As long as you signed the Transformco employment agreement, you've been '(re}hired', so the notice is of no concern.
We got our new cards early last week.
Actually what probably happened is a bunch of layoffs were scheduled to have happened by now, but in usual chaotic and stupid fashion, things got pushed back and not all the Is got dotted or the Ts crossed.
Sounds like someone jumped the gun in processing your termination papers to be honest.
As far as I know medical coverage stays the same. I know that those that have medical coverage are waiting on new cards in the mail this week. That is what we are told.
It looks like there will be no medical insurance with Holdco.
