Can't get into super specifics because I dont want to be identified but I know for a fact a lot of fresh leads are stepping down in my market and other leads In the other departments too gm said market manager is talking to Regional

I am really confused by some of our sams club fresh leads you guys are complaining about a rotating schedule. Our club have been during this forever you are some lucky leads to only work during the day. Sure wish I worked at your club’s.
So you are stepping down, presumably to a schedule that has ZERO WEEKENDS OFF and ZERO THREE DAY WEEKENDS for a couple dollars less an hour? That makes ZERO SENSE!
Someone please show me what I am missing here?

Was a produce team lead. Was closing every shift I worked. But my days off were consistent every week. Didn’t like closing but much better than having a jumbled mess and clopenings all over the place with split days off.
I’m really curious about what was everyone’s schedule before? Ive been a fresh lead for a while and have always worked both opening and closing shift with one weekend off a month and never had an issue. This is retail btw, what do everyone expect.
The rotating schedule is garbage. People b--ched about no weekends off as a leader in retail and they made it worse. Now you get a weekend off but your days off are split up and never together except that weekend off.
You are in the minority if you like this Rotating schedule 2nd of all we don't get very much money for being a team lead considering everything else we do And when they ever get the belts out We get an extra 7$ No FM or store manager Is going to let a fully trained Meat cutter go to a different department especially with the start of the summer holiday season there dumb not r----ded
I personally like the rotating schedule.
Spread the word. Others need to stand together and show them who makes these billions for them. All of us fresh leads should tell them the same thing. Let's all say we're stepping down .
We can only hope this is true, but it may be too late for some of us. I'm dead inside.
