It seemed like pioneer might be headed in the right direction. There were definitely too many employees but the people that have been making all the wrong stupid decisions remain with the company. The problem went from quantity to quality. The biggest problem at PXD is the buddy buddy system. It’s not always a bad thing if the buddy’s are smart and make intelligent decisions but when they’re all a bunch of r----ds it definitely affects the company.

Is anyone else disturbed by the shear volume of demotions? I think they will regret that one.
I was one of the ones let go and couldn’t be more happy. The a-- kissing has already started on the new supervisors. A week ago these people hated the thought of their new boss, but today different ballgame. Did I say I love that I got the package.

PXD needs to be taken out by CVX or XOM
The nepotistic tree remains firmly planted in LCO. Can’t speak to the Midland office. However you are absolutely correct about the buddy system, it’s a total sham.
Anyone who has been in the industry knows that it is never a one and done when it comes to layoffs. There will be a next round probably sometime before March of next year.
