Corporate office in Roanoke appears to have a lot of changes coming soon. There's a brand new "team" being created that will be working email and chat support for Walmart customers, and they will be pulling employees from their current teams making those departments short staffed.
There's also a new policy going in affect that will ban all cell phones while you're on the sales floor, which covers the entire support center departments. Rumor has it that current store support teams will now be taking Walmart customer service phone calls as well.
It looks like the Advance/Walmart plan is coming very soon. I hope that plan includes improving store support and not pushing it further to the side.
