Thread regarding L3 Technologies layoffs

The best are gone

Those who are not, are on their way out. And nobody is replacing them. We are so shorthanded that a lot of things are not getting done - and yet nobody seems to care.

What kind of company just lets that happen? After a while, I bet some of us will be blamed for not working 24/7 to make sure things get done and we'll be shown the door as well.

To be honest, at this point that would be a blessing.

I knew things were headed in downward direction as soon as they fired Camile Guth for the comments she made at that one Christmas party. She was such a brilliant leader and a kind, beautiful woman.
Unfortunately she couldn't hold her alcohol, and you know how those x-mas parties can go! Well, the poor woman got pretty sauced, and was overheard by some of the big-wigs from NY telling one of her subordinate female employees "You look like you were rode hard and put away wet". Those fellas from NY just couldn't let that kind of thing go, so they fired the poor Guth woman. CSW never quite recovered from that day. Let this be a lesson - Don't drink and Christmas Party!

Exactly. Your a s---er if you put one minute of hard work into this company. Upper management pays 0 attenention to what people do with their time.

As long as I can come to work and do nothing all day then I'm good. Even the managers dont care if I take hour lunches lol. Ride this gravy train till it's time to get on the next one.

The Senior Executives & Managers have a goal for employees: "Do more, with less". It is a goal in the mid-year reviews.

There is an email from L3 about stock black out on 6/27/19. That means that they expect merger approval before that. Lay-off will start around that week.
