This is not going to end well for Lowes associates

Revenue was up, exceeding forecasts.

Same-store sales were up, exceeding forecasts.

Stock cratered because expenses exceeded forecasts, causing earnings to be below forecasts.

Marvin was brought in by activist investors to make the stock go up.

Guess what the largest, most easily controllable expense is?

of course they exist....and even though sites such as this were probably founded by disgruntled employees...they eventually grew...and it became profitable to buy them up. just look at all the websites bezos owns....or different apps and platforms owned by facebook or google. americans are asleep at the wheel while big tech continues to grow and monopolize the internet. the internet today is the town square of yesterday. the supreme court has ruled you cannot ban someones free speech from the town square. THIS right here is our town square. free speech IS negative speech.

On deletions, someone posted this a couple of days ago, source below:

I've been on this site since 2015 (first with Verizon and now with GM) so hear me out:

mods/admins exist, they are silent tho

they delete messages, sometimes in bulk (eg all threads or all messages you ever posted by you or someone else may be nuked)

they block ip addresses, some vpns will not work as they are already blocked

some words are blocked and trigger reviews, try to enter xes in reverse and they'll review you

here are things that will trigger a review,purge or block: swearing, use of names, politics, attacking other people

got blocked once, never heard back from them and had to switch ip

if someone is crossing the line you can report it on the contact page

dont post in weird threads, they may bulk block you (if you do, use vpn)

they really cannot stop you posting, use a vpn and you are ok - if you are using a vpn, dont use bing ones like nordVPN as they have them blocked - pick a smaller providedr

try to avoid any discussion about race or identity groups, they dont f around with that - that's like an instant ban and all your older messages get deleted

i am sure there is more stuff that i am forgetting but this is it in the nutshell...

wow,......moderators deleted a bunch of comments from here. id--ts.

yeah my store is still cutting hours....its getting more and more ridiculous. reducing head count and hours on top of what theyve already been doing....and the district manager still somehow things he can throw a temper tantrum over work not completed. we're out-doing last years numbers by a healthy margin at that making this all an even bigger slap in the face.

Actually I don’t think Marvin’s cash compensation is that much. Most of his compensation will be in stock options.

the easiest controlled expense is the id--ts in the "C-suite". just look at the MILLIONS saved by letting the whole bunch go! OR they're the easiest controlled expense given how they wh--e themselves out for money! Either way....they're the easiest to control! And don't you ever forget it! only difference between a CEO and the single mom down at "Showgirls" is the ceo wears more clothes to work. All any experts got from yesterday was that CORPORATE spends what they do not have and gives away what they cannot afford. The hard working hourly associates k--led it in the first quarter and even the so called experts were impressed that lowes hourly associates out-paced last year.
