I worked there for five years. Got a text while on vacation that my severance package was being mailed to me. Phone remotely wiped, can't get to personal items in my office. No way to treat loyal employees. Glad i got the package!!! My department was a joke. Director in charge is in way over his head, horrible manager and wouldn't last in the real world. He's right where he needs to be - on a sinking ship. I won't be surprised if within a year we're all reading about Pioneer being sold. At least i got out now. Only top people will be getting big paychecks when it sells.

They literally said 2 weeks pay. And no. No one is receiving an additional stock award. The only change made was advancing the award schedule moving forward from April to August. Bonus? You must have been high when you heard the announcement.
Who the f**k said it’s 2 weeks pay? It said bonus. Also you will be getting lti award which is same as what got vested for VSP’s. Now you have a choice to look for better job or stay with the company. People who got the money were laid off. Their negotiation power has been taken off. Their time is ticking. In this market if you don’t have a job for 6 months you are done. There is always fresher blood to hire.

The extra paycheck is chucky cheese points compared to the over 200k I should have gotten. And all you get is an "I know its disappointing" from your uppers still in place. F--- this company and its r----ded bonus.
And what retention bonus is that? The extra two weeks pay and a Friday off? Give me a break. They should not even done that. It’s insulting.
Don’t celebrate too early. People who stayed will get retention bonus and stock as good as your package.
