When will we know for sure that everything they wanted closed is closed and everybody they wanted gone has been notified?
This has been dragged out unnecessarily - the only thing they achieved by not telling us outright is creating a stressed out workforce that's thinking about everything else but doing the work.
Just let us know already!
Stress is a recognized job related disability file and collect now before you get furloughed.
It is never over. Clean sheeting will succeed and then they will need more manpower to meet the needs then some stockholder will want more money and come up with a new number to chase and then layoffs again. Plus the economic ups and downs and the equipment ups and downs and bam, more hiring and more layoffs.
The only way to not get laid off from the railroad(or worry about the possibility) is to not work for the railroad.
That’s what NS wants a stressed out job scared work force.
