As long as everyone keeps rushing thru the power and ignoring fra defects they will continue to cut.

The layoffs will continue until locomotive availability is too low. As long as the shops are putting out enough power to pull all the trains they will continue cuts. Why do you think they are doing it a little at a time? They are trying to find the bare minimum amount of shopcraft employees they need. Start bad ordering power, work to the rule, work all tasks exactly the way the standard work says-even if it is not right.

The only reason they aren’t getting electricians is the job market in DFW. Plenty of work and plenty of them quitting, no room to cut.
