I just received confirmation from my intel in Atlanta that SCX will be closing August 1st and ceasing 95% of all operations. Norfolk Southern will continue to keep 2 fireman oilers and 2 machinist staffed for fuel pad operations 5 days a week during daylight hours only. Roanoke shops will only absorb 7 machinist 11 electricians 0 pipefitters 0 boilermakers and 2 fireman oilers.

They might not know and if they did they probably would not tell you if there doing there job

To the person posting that they have the contacts and Intel that confirms scx is staying open and adding 2 new originating trains then prove it or you're exactly the same as the other monkeys on this site. But as I suspect, you're EXACTLY the same as the other monkeys! Get a life!
Fake news. SCX is going from Originating 2 trains there to 4 trains there once TOP 21 takes place in June. Whom ever is making this off the wall post are clueless. I have the facts and a list of contacts whom have the intel. Shaffer’s will always have people working there 7 days a week. Transportation needs power daily. When Locomotives have troubles that need to be fixed in a safely and timely manner get your facts straight buddy!!!!!
Some people live in a bubble they dont do there job but yet think ns needs to keep them employed
Possibly when they cut SCX to the bone then merge all seniority rosters.......
