Webster is dead, at least for IT and security. Some VPs already told their people that they are no longer allowed to hire in Rochester, only Raleigh. JohnV and Steve B think Rochester s---s, even though so far all they've been able to do with their people is cut expenses to the point of damaging ongoing operations.
My take is the significant Webster staff retrenchment will be occurring prior to mid-June so that savings will be captured in 2Q and people will be off the books on July 1.
A big question mark around future of most of the webster campus.
All IT functions (includes yahoos who are under XIM/XDX who don’t do IT) currently done out of Webster will be performed elsewhere, mostly North Carolina.
Or is just a coincidence that the person who asked about the NC openings was let go today. (Sarcastic tone implied)
Takeaway is be careful what questions you ask. Heard that the employee who asked the question about the Raleigh postings was let go this morning in Webster.
