Thread regarding Baker Hughes layoffs

New ownership

Who will buy bhge in July? Any rumors? Will bhge be divided in various groups and each group will be sold off to various buyers?

Rumor has it that Bernie Sanders, AOC and Biden are going to purchase controlling interest in the company.

there’s a post comment on the HAL board, as if from one of their “pep squad boys” that says only HAL and Schlum will emerge. That’s seems to be in step with sentiments here.

Baker Hughes will need to cut back, BOD Aberdeen will be the first place to go as there's a new site in Montrose cost less to run, looking forward it would be a good move,

Why Weatherford ??? Watch their stock. With 0.056$ per share they are bancrupt.

I guess there are these option:

  • Chinese ( but will Uncle Sam do this :-) ? )

  • Russians ( but will Uncle Sam agree ? )

  • One of the land of curry

  • buttoms up and go ahead

+1 to 1cvp‘s comment. P&L’s are starting to bring back brand names of acquired products.

The majority GE board will make BHGE borrow billions of dollars to overpay GE for their shares.

BHGE will be highly leveraged and forced to sell assets piecemeal in a depressed oil services environment.

Halliburton and other companies get the pieces they wanted.

Second option is GE shares are bought by a hedge fund who takes control of the board who votes to piecemeal sell the pieces.

Much too quiet for GE’s exit.

That is the only logical thing that can happen. No one wants all of bhge. Just cherry pick what you want and go. At this stage of the game, things are really too quiet.
