There are no issues with leadership and we are GTS now as part of 2.0. More efficient, more agile, more Devops, more cloud and more outsource.
AD and his antics were the reason this EUS VSP'er (along with many of my colleagues) pulled the handle on the escape hatch and left after 20+ years. I still have 20 more years to work before retirement and couldn't be happier to have left his scatter shot approach to micromanaging the DTD while having no sense of reality or real priorities. As someone said earlier, ban the use of PPT and "Slides"... without the endless cycles WASTED on creating these decks and their numerous revisions AD would have even less of a clue as to what goes on and expose him for what he is... completely worthless.

I don't work in IT, but every time we have an opening in my area, there's about 100 applicants who immediately apply to get out from under the mess there. It's so sad.
Going to another company and seeing how much more functional their technology divisions are run was a breath of fresh air. Verizon is sh-- and will continue to be so.
I thought half of the VPs in IT would be let go under two dot oh, but it's BAU with a name change.
OP what are you waiting for? Quit there are plenty of better opportunities out there. Verizon will never improve.

IT is so completely broken and dysfunctional at this point. Clean VP house starting with SA,VG, SS, ME and AD to start. IT is wayy too top heavy. Then ban PowerPoints and Ops reviews which consume way too much time and money and add zero value. Get IT more aligned with the business. Have leaders who hold the Business leaders accountable who push and escalate stupid projects that add no value, wasting valuable resources. Push Finance to grow a pair and start truly evaluating the c-ap projects and participating in making tough decisions on what projects should be done.
