Thread regarding Total System Services Inc. layoffs

Mass layoff in September

The plan is to do this sporadically at first, so there's not a lot of fanfare for large groups. The targeted MASS layoffs will occur in September, and go through January 1 2020.

Remember the 2020 project a few years ago? This will eclipse that.

Bumped from @ZkXMaPO-kvw for important info.

Looks like they are gearing up for another large cut at upcoming planned meetings

This is what happens when you get too comfortable with employers

Lehi call center has already been eliminated. Only "language speakers" are staying "for the time being". Unsure of what type of severance is provided to these hourly employees other than 30 day notice.

Is there any knowledge about the staff in Lehi, UT and what kind of layoffs are planned there?

HR is going to be down to about 15 people before the year is over. It is losing over 100 people in September. Merchant especially any sight outside of Columbus is facing huge cuts. The loss of capital one fraud business was already going to result in a huge layoff.

Will Alpharetta or Kennesaw be affected?

The overall number is growing. The merger will see duplicate jobs in Columbus HQ get eliminated, and the bulk of IT will move to Atlanta, and offshore.

HR was given the direction to pull the lowest performers, and highest paid.
