Unfi just bought out my husband's Supervalue warehouse in Stockton CA. 7 people have been laid off since yesterday 6/5/19.
In case somebody was doubting this was happening, it is. I'm thinking this is only the beginning, and we'll be seeing much more of this in the future.
Being anti-union is in effect being anti-American.....period. The American labor movement has taken it on the chin in recent years with dwindling memberships and right to work laws. Obama had a chance to give labor a boost with "card check" and he chose not to return the favor labor did for him by helping him get elected.
UNFI IS ANTI UNION!
Layoffs will be all across the states.
The CEO & Board members need more money. Their multi-million dollar salaries are not enough.
Their employees are of little value to them.
It's a disgusting way to run a business.
