This Friday our club is purging any associate over the 5 point limit. Anyone else hear about any other club doing this. Just wondering if it is our club only or if it is company wide.

Point system is a joke. Not one person has been let go in my club even though many have more than 5. Not one thing will be done ,all talk no action.
Not true. As usual it is still of to the club manager's discretion. The favorite brown nosers have 8, 9, 10 and more and nothing. The one's with an "attitude" with no "sense of urgency" were let go at 5.
It should have switched in the system by now, but the new policy is that if the manager does not review attendance it will be marked as unapproved. After that the associate has 30 days to have a conversation with management. Or it is the other way around, the attendance policy is so vague.
I know this is very pessimistic but regardless of what attendance policy gets applied it will inevitably fail. And since everything is relying heavily on Workday to do the bulk of the work now you have non-committed managers and call center hourlies controlling your fate.
Plus I believe if the club wants to terminate an associate for attendance. The associate has to go into Workday or GTA to accept a message telling them how many points they have and if they are terminated.
@ibuu - It's the same as the old system. Manager's can still approve or disapprove the points as they wish, as long as it's within 14 days of the occurrence. And if you have manager's that don't track attendance, then everything defaults as approved after 14 days from the occurrence.
If the associates called out, were late and have 5 points they should loose their job. We still have people at my club who aren't taking it serious calling out and coming late again. I wonder if the managers have any way to change things in system to cover for their favorites.
A coworker just told me he saw the list of people in our club while in the manager's office. It was a full page and a half. He said there was no date on it. I cant imagine the club could function if they let everyone go at once.
I think they will start enforcing after June 22nd.
8 people got lost their job last week for 5 points.
I have 12 points. Not Purged yet.
They should have been purged once they hit 5pts, not a special day where they purge everyone at 5+pts.
