All these lawsuits do is to perpetuate the fiction that Eddie doesn't control it all and as majority owner couldn't replace the Board of Directors at Old Sears in a heartbeat like he did at SHOS. He has to keep up appearances to convince the judges, Congress, the DOJ, and the SEC to avoid jail. It's all BS games. He owns a controlling interest in Transform/New Sears. He owns a controlling interest in Sears Holdings/Old Sears. It's all owned by ESL, and he's using the conflict to move money around to say, "oh! Transform doesn't have money to keep this store open/pay retirees/pay severances/pay insurance because of withheld funds from old sears!" "oh! Sears Holdings doesn't have any say over what Seritage does or what Lands End does, or what SHOS does, they're independent companies (who have some of the same board members), there's no conflict, really!" Cut the f---ing sh--. ESL had the money to pay everyone, vendors, retirees, severances, employees, everyone. He segregated them into all these companies, all under ESL so he could pretend that he didn't, leaving individual companies underfunded, while pocketing the money in Seritage, Land's End, and Transform's Real Estate, while leaving the employees, vendors, and creditors to take it up the p--per, and having Judge Drain fooled the whole time. It's all a fiction, money manipulation as he does best, always to his personal advantage, destroying the lives of others.
