A tough pill to swallow indeed. Perhaps it would go down easier with some managerial baby batter. Hey carman, make sure you go that extra mile so we can save our jobs!! Perhaps the carman need to talk with there union about this, cause im sure they care.

Yes, UP will have these soon. We have hired many current and former CN staff. UP has implemented many of their operating practices and this will definitely be one. Only problem is it needs regulatory approval as an approved inspection first.

I agree that this will eliminate some carman inspections, but it will also find a lot more repair work.
