Jennifer Garner is hosting and wow is she cringy as f---. Plenty of cheering at how well the company is doing financially but no mention of increasing wages. Did you know share holders took home 13.9 Billion dollars last year. I hope you took home more than 20,000 through your paycheck. Love how they spend millions on this event while demanding managers to cut payroll. 13.9 Billion just won't cut it for this year. Cutting the night shift to reduce payroll, because 13.9 Billion would be a failure this year. Associate appreciation dinners use to be steak and potatoes but now were hamburgers and hotdogs because 13.9 Billion barely puts food on the table. Can't use your sick days, get guilted by your manager for using your ppto, reduced pto all because 13.9 Billion isn't enough for the Waltons.

Did anyone stop to look at the lack of respect that everyone is entitled to if they work hard and do their jobs. I think that’s what most of the people that are on this site really are complaining about. We built this company and put up with everything they have done over the years to effectively make it impossible for us to continue to do our jobs. Good for you if you were able to plan and save but some people don’t have the luxury of doing that. We have families and they need everything we make to live.
The problem is it taking so much away from the actual Associates and they put Blood Sweat and Tears into this company.
Doug McMillan, is pushing for minimum wage to go up to $15. They did talk about it there.

How many steak dinners will it take to appease you? Would it be better for you if the company paid everyone $5 more an hour and the profits went down to only $1 billion?
The shareholders expect to earn money too, that is how the stock market works OP. You exchange your work with the company, and the company pays you for that work. The shareholders exchange their money with the company, and they in turn expect to make more money than they paid.
I bet their are many shareholders that wish and think the stock should be at $125 a share, instead of the $106 it closed at today. Does that make them greedy too? Let me know how much you need to be paid to be happy working for the company, I’m just curious what your number will be.
I dont think you understand that there is quiet alot more shareholders than the Waltons. They never had to give us lunches go to another job and see what they give you, even when they did it was still not good enough for you.
I took home about 6,000 in shareholder dollars, so I am good. Buying more with my paycheck.
