I have seen several people laid off from my own group and others, yet they have hired 2 younger people this month in another area within the group. The company expects loyalty from its employees but their not even considering moving you to areas where there is work. It's obvious what they are doing. All the other banks are doing the same. Just hope it bites them in the end. At the very least what will the economy look like when so many older workers are displaced with 10 or so years left till retirement and no benefits.
