What a shambles QC at Dyce is. One bloke did 95% of the work and he has quit. There are 3 guys with Inspector as title and get paid £32k a year but only know how to use feeler gauges and a forklift. The manager spends all his time processing o rings and the Supervisor spends all his time doing nothing at all. Surely the new boss can see this and is making changes?

Afraid to say you brought it on yourselves by keeping quiet and accepting shoddy work though i do understand its hard to stand up and be counted while putting your job on the line.
The place is getting shut down by year end anyway. Sorting QC and assembly will make no difference

There is no communication in Dyce on how we do, only safety meetings. In the interview for BoD, the new manager said he’s going to change all that - about dam time too. Dunno if he can do much on QC, the old boys network might stop him.

Same as assembly. Useless fkrs being paid too much and only know how to answer a phone in a taxi office. The people that hired these unskilled workers have a lot to answer for and should be escorted off the premises at the same time as the rest of the dead wood that has been dragging the placw down
