I am being offered a contractor position and wanted to see how is work-life balance over there at Molina? I know cuts happened, and I am sorry.

Life work balance is something championed by management in the all associates meeting and for pr purposes. In reality, for salaried Molina employee's there is no Life work balance. No matter what the workload is you have to meet the deadlines. If you want to remain employed you are always working. Checking emails, working weekends, and working late. Not much work life balance. Funny thing though, is how you can walk around the building and you see a lot of people socializing, on the internet, or disappearing for long c-gare--e breaks. It's like some people are busting their butts to keep their job and have Molina succeed and others are just showing up for a paycheck and have given up on making this company work.
Depends on how much they pay you. If you're getting a good premium to work there - take it for what it is.... a short term engagement with a really good rate. As a contractor, you're an expendable hire who may be let go at any time for any reason.
As for work-life-balance, the less people they have, the more they'll depend on contractors to fill the positions left by FTEs who were laid off or quit. Just make sure you negotiate overtime in your rate and you should be all good.
Unless you are desperate for a job... go some place else. You are wasting your time and energy. Go with a real company. We are on our last leg!
Run don’t walk. Seriously, this place is a sh-- hole. You can do much better somewhere else, even as a contractor
