The ones who should be getting the ax in Minnesota are the incompetent database people. Ask any former dev people from TR, they'll all tell you the same thing...projects are delayed one after the other because the database team is not able to produce at a professional rate. In turn, the database managers in Minnesota do everything they can to lobby management in New York and London that projects that have been approved by sales get buried under mountains of bureaucratic nonsense as the datbase managers try to cover up their own failures by claiming projects are unnecessary. The world's greatest database managers reside in a 1000 mile area from Seattle to Silicon Valley. What is a world class data company doing with database management in Minnesota ? Defies logic. The entire database staff in Minnesota should be taught to drive combines and work the wheat fields while Refinitiv moves the database management to a real database management company in Silicon Valley. Sure would be easier to hire top level database managers and programmers in a nice weather locale as opposed to a place that goes hard below zero for several months of the year.
