Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Shopping experience

Went to buy a fan in Indiana store yesterday. Took 15 minutes to find the fans. The aisle labeled fans had no fans. They were one aisle over in an aisle without any similar items. Sign for that was grill parts.

I asked the first employee available halfway across the store in electrical. I explained the aisle mismatch. He looks on his mobile device and tells me that the fans are in the aisle I just left. When I left upset he followed me and passed me saying they move stuff all the time. He helped me find them. They were all overpriced.

If the aisle labels matched the aisle it would have been all good. I know payroll is cut so close to the bone that double checks and set review is out of the question.

you know its getting real when they inform you of their IQ score to win the argument!!

IQ of 163....still took 15 minutes to find a fan one aisle over.....

IQ of 163....still walked all the way over to electrical....

IQ of 163.....still not smart enough to use price match or compare prices online first....

Corporate is aware of the locations being missing or wrong. There's no way for any store associate to change that information. Corporate hears ya, corporate don't care.

For crying out loud the call buttons all advertise that the app has a map but it was removed years ago at this point.

a customer would just say what city the lowes store was in.....but they kept it vague to an entire state...just in case....the store was able to track back the exact associate making this complaint hahahaha.

Amazing too that they know of our budget cuts leaving no time or associates to do double checks.

Perhaps we should hire them. We were told 26 seasonal associates and the most we’ve seen has been 8.

i then rushed home and found a lowes social media platform to complain about my rather minor inconvenience. for all i know that store was in the middle of resetting some products to make room for something else, but that didnt matter. having to go one aisle over was a massive inconvenience for me. sure its a first world problem, i and my family could be bloated from malnutrition, but thats neither here nor there!!! #pettyragematters #catertome #youprobablywouldhavebiggercomplaintsifyoufoundwereIwork
