No one in LL designed the Ampscot units that would have been a disaster given their 100 year old engineer. Your talking pure garbage @Zx7R8Um-6eyv and do not have a clue on the design history of anything

A lot of the team designed the old Ampscot units. They are mostly ex-WFT people. WFT b--tardized the units when they went to China by making them too light. These guys make a beefy version that is improved upon from the original Ampscot design. Way more reliable. A quiet and solid gearbox. Everything is better.
