I saw bargain books on carts outside a store on the sidewalk! Way to protect the image and brand of a bookstore! Managers should take an oath to do no harm. Sad times when they have to come up with these bad ideas to justify their existence. Who ever gave birth to this idea should go run a flea market. It's their true calling.

What is the ISO standard for spinning signs out front? Ruin the imagine, look desperate and then try to make stores get 10 memberships a day. Time to clean house and get some upper management with at the very least new bad ideas.

Our store would put several shelving carts of used and bargain books outside the front doors on a weekend in the summer. It looked horrible. Many times you'd see customers just take some and walk away. There was no bookseller out there. Big destination store on a major retail highway and they had this outside.
